Job Description :
The VP of Global Business Development and Inside Sales is responsible for leading the global team of Business Development leaders and team members (inclusive of Inbound and Outbound motions), as well as our Inside Sales team. The BD team's primary function is to source or convert, qualify, and build high quality pipeline for Account Executives.

Lead a diverse & evolving distributed team. This will include directly leading & developing a team of regional 2nd line BD leaders enabling them to optimally mentor, hire, and grow their teams, as well as a team of frontline Inside Account Managers
Drive consistency and improvement in process flows, SLA’s and handoffs between the multiple organizations
Build a team that grows into highly impactful talent for Pluralsight
What you’ll do :
Partner with Sales & Marketing leadership to drive process improvements resulting in elite productivity
Work closely and collaborate with Sales leadership, Marketing, Revenue Strategy and Operations, Enablement and Talent Acquisition to deliver pipeline, bookings, hiring and development targets
Own annual planning, budget responsibility, recruiting, hiring and onboarding execution for the Business Development business unit
Experience you’ll bring :
Experience in B2B Sales, Business Development or Operations, preferably in the SaaS industry
Solid understanding of different GTM motions and top of funnel best practices with experience across multiple customers segments
Experience demonstrating data and systems in innovative ways to drive growth and scale
Executive presence and ability to articulate sophisticated concepts / situations succinctly
Strong track record of growth and overachieving targets
A validated playbook for coaching, hiring, and mentoring GTM teams
Ability to empower, inspire, and align a team to a vision and lead optimally through change
Requirements :
Requires a minimum of 15 years of related or equivalent experience; or 10 years and an advanced degree
May require having been a people leader, if first people leadership role, incumbents have typically spent several years in one or more roles and are viewed as experts in the functional area
Travel Requirements :
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
