Job Description :
The VP of Business Development is responsible for all inbound and outbound prospecting, qualifying, and building pipeline for Account Executives. They own strategic and operational accountability for the front end of the marketing and sales qualification funnel. It is their job to ensure that the handoff between marketing prospects to sales opportunities is smooth and drives to the revenue targets.

Partner with Sales & Marketing leadership to drive process improvements resulting in elite productivity
Drive consistency and improvement in process flows, SLA’s and handoffs between the multiple organizations
What you’ll do :
Work closely and collaborate with Sales leadership, Marketing, Revenue Strategy and Operations, Enablement and recruiting to deliver pipeline, hiring and development targets.
Own annual planning, budget responsibility, recruiting, hiring and onboarding execution for the Business Development responsibility
Experience you’ll bring :
Experience in B2B Sales, Business Development or Operations, preferably in the SaaS industry
Solid understanding of different GTM motions and top of funnel best practices with experience across multiple customers segments
Experience demonstrating data and systems in innovative ways to drive growth and scale
Executive presence and ability to articulate sophisticated concepts / situations succinctly
Requirements :
Requires a minimum of 15 years of related or equivalent experience; or 10 years and an advanced degree
May require having been a people leader, if first people leadership role, incumbents have typically spent several years in one or more roles and are viewed as experts in the functional area
Travel Requirements :
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
