Job Brief:

We are looking for a highly driven Sales Director with a proven track record as a "rainmaker"in IT services sales. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, has a deep and active network,and is focused on delivering value to customers. You are adept at uncovering new business opportunities, leveraging your relationships, and growing revenue by prioritizing customer success and trust.

In this hunter role, you will own the full sales cycle—from identifying leads to closing large, multi-year deals. You will bring innovative solutions to customers, challenge the status quo, and partner with internal teams to deliver best-in-class services. You will be expected to generate your own pipeline, work independently, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.

    Responsibilities:

    Opportunity Identification & Business Development:
    Leverage your rich Rolodex and industry connections to generate and identify new business opportunities. Actively engage with the market to find and close new deals, expanding customer base.

    • Own the sales cycle end-to-end, from lead generation through deal closure, with minimal reliance on pre-sales or lead generation teams.
    • Develop and execute a tailored sales strategy for acquiring and closing large, multi-year contracts.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build trusted relationships with CXO-level decision-makers and key influencers.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by thoroughly understanding their business needs and delivering innovative solutions.
    • Prioritize long-term relationships by doing right by the customer, ensuring mutual success and value.
    • Continuously provide customers with the right solutions, demonstrating deep market knowledge and technical expertise.

    Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Create and implement a strategic sales plan to drive business in target industries and geographies.
    • Meet or exceed aggressive quarterly, half-yearly, and annual revenue goals by closing large deals in high-potential sectors.
    • Stay ahead of market trends, competition, and new technologies to provide customers with cutting-edge solutions.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including delivery and product, to ensure seamless execution of contracts.

    Requirements & Skills:

    Education:

    • BS/MS in computer science, engineering, sales, business administration, or a related field (preferred).

    Experience:

    • 12 years of proven success in IT services sales with a strong focus on hunting new business.
    • Extensive experience selling Digital Transformation, IT Managed Services, Cloud, Data & Analytics, and Software Engineering Services.
    • Demonstrated ability to close multi-year, high-value contracts with Fortune 500 and mid-sized enterprises.
    • Experience in key industries: Banking & Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Energy, and Public Sector.
    • A well-developed personal network within target industries, with relationships at the CXO level.

    Skills:

    • Proven ability to independently generate leads and close deals without significant support.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills—able to effectively sell to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong business acumen, with the ability to align customer needs with our solutions.
    • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and handle multiple deals simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, and strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • A willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and close deals.
