We are currently seeking a motivated and entrepreneurially minded Marketing Specialist for a retail company's global headquarters located in Beaverton, OR.
Job Overview:
As a Marketing Specialist, your strength lies in the ability to communicate the benefits of the employee benefits program and promote total well-being of the client population.
You will be responsible for evaluating the client’s total well-being promotional needs, objectives, and sustaining successful health and well-being marketing communications through collaboration with the client. Additionally, you will promote internal and vendor partner programs and evaluate the success of marketing communications over time.
What you will do:
- Serve as marketing communications project manager, managing and prioritizing projects and campaigns to meet deadlines, deliverables, and budget.
- In partnership with the client and health promotion team, plan, develop and implement annual strategic internal communications plan to reach employee population.
- Research, write, edit, and proofread copy for marketing communications collateral, such as emails, newsletters, intranet content, FAQs, employee-facing digital app, digital signage, presentations, whiteboard content, tabling events, and more.
- Support proprietary, employee-facing gamification platform to incentivize employee behavior change.
- Educate a large, diverse team about programming updates and upcoming special events using multiple communication channels.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., communication, marketing, or related communication emphasis).
- Three years of experience in internal or corporate communications, marketing strategies, or a comparable role.
- Strong and efficient self-management, reporting and follow-up skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking, time management, problem-solving and organizational skills with a steady dedication to excellence in communications/marketing.
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Effective and engaging public speaking skills with the ability to communicate professionally and appropriately with clients and participants.
- Proven strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to speak and write clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work comfortably with various levels of leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe InDesign.
