What are the responsibilities and job description for the ITC Helper position at Plus One Meetings Inc.?
Plus One Meetings runs workplace programs for children, and we are currently looking
for individuals with experience working with, or teaching, elementary, middle or high
school students to support a one-day Take Your Kids to Work Day program on
Thursday, April 24th from 7:30 am – 1:00 pm. Location - Novi, MI. A training session will
be held before the event. Pay is $30/hour for all hours worked or for training.
Successful candidates will work with a small group (10 – 15) of kids and help them
develop questions to ask employees about the company and their role within the
company. Kids will also prepare questions to interview volunteer candidates from the
company as they “hire” new employees across various departments in the company. A
sample job description and suggested question will be provided as a guide.
Requirements:
- Must have experience working with multiple children at once.
- Must be professional and well spoken; able to communicate effectively and clearly with
company employees and children.
- Must have an understanding that companies are made up of different departments and
an idea of how each department might contribute to the company (IT, HR, Marketing,
Administration, etc.)
- Must have positive energy and be ready to have some fun!!
