Five years foundry experience required in Gray & Ductile iron
Foundry supervisor experience required
College degree not required
Metallurgical experience preferred but not required
Both Third and first shift available
Must be available to work overtime when needed
4 days a week.
10 hour days
Pay will be subject to experience 45-65K a year plus benefits.
Summary
As a General Foundry Supervisor, you will oversee the manufacturing processes within the foundry, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality output. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will leverage your mechanical knowledge and manufacturing skills to manage a team and coordinate activities involving CNC machines, machining, and fabrication. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations in the foundry, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain machinery, including CNC and press brake machines.
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to guide production and quality inspection.
- Train and supervise staff on proper use of tools and equipment, including forklifts and precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the production process.
