What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian-180 Day Floater position at Plymouth Public Schools?
Qualifications
Head Custodian, Director of Facilities, and the Building Principal and/or his/her designee.
- Experience in the custodial trade preferred.
- Knowledgeable of building infrastructure in particular boilers and/or heating, ventilation and air conditioning units, and fire alarm and sprinkler systems with appropriate district provided training.
- Ability to assume custodial job related duties required of a physically demanding job.
- Certification of good health signed by a medical professional in order to be appointed. Any further medical review as appropriate through a school appointed physician.
- Ability to pass any required or mandated trainings provided by the employer such as OSHA requirements needed to perform any job related responsibility.
- A sense of humor and a proven ability to work in a polite and friendly manner with all staff members, students, and with the larger educational community.
- Knowledge of SchoolDude work order computer system preferred with appropriate district provided training.
- Such job related alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Department may find appropriate and acceptable.
