What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian-180 Day Floater position at Plymouth South Middle School?
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience in the custodial trade preferred.
2. Knowledgeable of building infrastructure in particular boilers and/or heating, ventilation
and air conditioning units, and fire alarm and sprinkler systems with appropriate district
provided training.
3. Ability to assume custodial job related duties required of a physically demanding job.
4. Certification of good health signed by a medical professional in order to be appointed.
Any further medical review as appropriate through a school appointed physician.
5. Ability to pass any required or mandated trainings provided by the employer such as
OSHA requirements needed to perform any job related responsibility.
6. A sense of humor and a proven ability to work in a polite and friendly manner with all
staff members, students, and with the larger educational community.
7. Knowledge of SchoolDude work order computer system preferred with appropriate
district provided training.
8. Such job related alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Department
may find appropriate and acceptable.

Head Custodian, Director of Facilities, and the Building Principal and/or his/her designee.
