The School of Business, an ACBSP accredited program of Plymouth State University, invites applications for a non-tenure track, Assistant Professor of Practice in General Business, predominantly in the marketing and management disciplines in addition to a diverse set of business courses ranging from accounting, business writing, organizational communication, organizational behavior, and special topic classes within business. Applicants should have a record of teaching excellence in a variety of general management courses, experience teaching diverse learners, experience integrating technology with instruction, and a willingness to teach traditional, blended and online graduate and undergraduate classes. Professional experience in the field is a plus. The teaching load is 30 to 32credit hours per year. The candidate will also be expected to advise undergraduate students and provide service to the university.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of the School of Business curriculum such as 96-hour, three-year programs Advising and service to students as detailed in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Contribute to the overall business programs, student organizations, and committees.
- Engagement in student organizations via advising, management, or marketing assistance for events across student organizations and events such as Panther Pitch, Rise Above Addiction, MAPS, Enactus, etc.
- Engagement in and participation with student and faculty retention activities for the School of Business.
- MBA degree or master’s degree in an associated or related field
- Two years (or equivalent) of undergraduate or graduate teaching experience in business topics
- Ability and interest in teaching general business courses in marketing and management
- Familiarity with the use of learning management systems such as Canvas
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and business or institutional partners outside PSU
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
