Learn to skate instructors will play a key role in the execution of our Learn-to-Skate programs. In addition to following the curriculum and teaching skills on the ice, the instructor is expected to provide feedback to students during lessons and at the end of the session. The instructor will work with other instructors and program leadership to ensure that group placement is accurate, testing standards are met, and customer satisfaction is achieved.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead group skating lessons for students ages 4 yrs-adult
- Teach, demonstrate, and evaluate skating skills
- Ensure a positive and safe environment for all participants
- Adhere to lesson criteria and testing standards.
- Evaluate skaters' progress and accurately report for skater advancement
- Be able to choreograph group routines for the annual skating show
- Be available during lesson times: Saturday mornings (Sept-March) and/or Monday afternoons (March-August)
- Must have passed US Figure Skating Bronze skating skills or higher
- Must have experience coaching Learn-to-Skate
- Must have an active membership with United States Figure Skating or Learn-to-Skate USA
