Plymouth Tube Company is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team. This position plays a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to ensure the efficient and safe operation of machinery, equipment, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design control systems for industrial processes, machinery, and equipment
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming to control and monitor industrial processes
- Design and develop Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for real-time monitoring, control, and visualization of industrial processes
- Analyze PLC logic and graphic programs to change or debug machine functions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of control system theory, industrial automation, and instrumentation
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text
- Experience with HMI and SCADA software, such as Wonderware, Ignition, or FactoryTalk
