Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Leadership: Lead labor compliance monitoring initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to all relevant labor laws and standards
- Documentation and Analysis: Review and analyze project documentation, contracts, and payroll to ensure alignment with prevailing wage laws and compliance policies
- Reporting and Recommendations: Prepare detailed compliance reports for management and advise on necessary corrective actions to resolve non-compliance issues
- Training and Guidance: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to educate project teams about labor compliance requirements and best practices
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with project managers, HR, and contractors to address compliance issues and facilitate solutions
- Conduct Audits: Plan and execute internal audits and compliance inspections, providing feedback to enhance compliance practices across projects
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential compliance issues and collaborate with team members to develop practical solutions
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of labor compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are effectively implemented
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding compliance matters and labor law inquiries
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in labor compliance, project coordination, or a senior role in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices
- Proven experience in leading audit processes and addressing compliance challenges
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to present complex information clearly
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
