PMCO is hiring an Extrusion Operator from the food industry in southwestern Minnesota!
Salary: $24-$27/hr OT
Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday – Thursday)
Location: Southwestern Minnesota - Relocation assistance offered
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Start up, operate, troubleshoot, shut down, and clean the extruder machine.
- Coordinate production runs with the supervisor to ensure orders are completed on time.
- Monitor and record product metrics, including salt, caustic, temperature, density, and moisture levels.
- Ensure quality assurance of products being processed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and operational standards at all times.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous experience operating extrusion equipment.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments and familiarity with industrial processes.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics, mechanical aptitude, and comfort using hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret process instructions from manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
