PMCO is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor from the industrial services industry in Minneapolis, MN!
Salary: $80-110K / year
Shift: 1st, Monday to Friday
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the Plant Manager.
- Lead all maintenance activities at the facilities, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Improve functionality and reliability of all production and facility equipment.
- Manage and schedule facility and equipment work assignments.
- Perform and schedule all preventative maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement safety processes and procedures.
- Manage building, equipment, capital expenditures, and parts and labor budgets.
- Prepare maintenance reports.
- Identify and evaluate parts suppliers, negotiate with service companies.
- Conduct training for all maintenance staff.
- Supervise and mentor the maintenance team and maintain staffing levels.
- Respond to emergency alarms.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum 5 years’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military.
- Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.
- Equipment knowledge: wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery.
- Maintenance management experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, parts management, vendor management, and maintenance management systems.
- Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
- Experience with blueprints and ability to read blueprints.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet.
- Ability to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to be on call 24 hours per day.
- Must have an active driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Boiler knowledge.
- HVAC experience.
- Prior experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
- Reliability certification such as CPMM or CRMP.
