Sanitation Supervisor

PMCO is hiring a Sanitation Supervisor from the manufacturing industry in Canton, OH!

Pay: $110,000–$115,000
Location: Canton, OH

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and supervise the sanitation team to ensure effective and timely cleaning of all production areas.
• Develop and maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule, ensuring alignment with food safety and quality standards.
• Train and mentor team members on sanitation best practices, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Plant Management and the Director of Quality to address sanitation issues and implement continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FSMA, OSHA, GMPs, and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate chemical inventories and coordinate with Ecolab to ensure proper use of cleaning agents and sanitizers.
• Conduct regular audits and review SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) for effectiveness and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of sanitation processes.
• Familiarity with CIP (Clean-in-Place), COP (Clean-out-of-Place), and SSOP protocols.
• Strong knowledge of relevant food safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA, FSMA, and GMPs.
• Ability to travel up to 30% as required for training, audits, or multi-site support.
