Purpose Of This Position:
At Perfect My Home (PMH), we are seeking a motivated Pool and Spa Valet to become a part of our growing team. The right candidate will engage in hands-on tasks crucial for the smooth operation of our pool and spa department. This role typically involves regular visits to client properties to perform tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming, testing water chemistry, adding necessary chemicals, and troubleshooting basic equipment issues. Additionally, this position may respond to urgent pool repair needs when required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for performing pool cleaning duties to include but not limited to: vacuuming pools and spa walls, brushing pool walls, and cleaning skimmers
- Performs the testing of the water pH, chlorine levels, alkalinity and calcium hardness.
- Administers the water chemistry to maintain the proper balance of the water and the necessary chemicals and adjusts as necessary. This role has to have the understanding of pool and spa chemistry in order to properly maintain the balance of the chemicals
- Inspects and cleans the equipment for maintenance purposes. This includes but not limited to: checking and adjusting pump operation, monitoring and maintaining equipment functionality as needed and identifying and reporting potential equipment malfunctions and/or issues for repair
- Communicate with clients regarding pool and spa maintenance needs
- Addresses customer concerns and questions about pool and spa care and maintenance
- Consistently upholds a professional demeanor and appearance, representing PMH with integrity at all times.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in pool or spa water chemistry. Plaster and Liner experience is preferred. Prior experience with pool equipment is essential, including knowledge of operation and basic repair techniques.

Special requirements:
A valid Oklahoma Class "D" Operator's License is required, along with the ability to drive a company-provided vehicle and proof of auto insurance.
Safety:
The employee shall be knowledgeable about and follow PMH’s safety policies and procedures. The Pool and Spa Valet should possess or be open to ongoing training in job and service shop site safety practices. Employees should immediately report (i.e., during current shift) any accidents, unusual occurrences, or any other safety-related issues to the immediate supervisor.
Work Environment:
This position primarily takes place in a construction environment, exposing the employee to varying temperatures, including heat and cold. The employee is expected to maintain regular attendance at work and is consistently on time. Normal office hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required. This includes any approved adjustments to work hours arranged for necessary outreach events.

Benefits and Compensation:
PMH offers a competitive benefit package for this role. The position will be considered an hourly, non-exempt position and the pay will be based on the employee’s qualifications and experience. The minimum starting wage range is $20.00 an hour in an non-exempt status.
