Job Description
The Cliffs of Gleneagles is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Gate Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, providing essential customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Entry and Exit: Control access to the community, verify identification, and maintain visitor and resident entry logs.
- Bilingual Customer Service: Greet residents and visitors courteously and professionally, providing assistance in both English and Spanish.
- Enforce Community Rules: Ensure all visitors, vendors and contractors adhere to community policies.
- Incident Reporting: Document any suspicious activities, violations, or incidents according to company guidelines.
- Traffic Control: Direct and manage the flow of vehicles at peak hours.
- Communication: Coordinate with community management and as needed.
Qualifications
- Language Requirement: Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
- Experience: Prior experience in customer service or security is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, computer literate, and ability to proficiently work an iPad.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and work in various weather conditions.
- Other: Must pass a background check; reliable transportation is required.
Schedule
- Hours: 7:45 AM – 6:00 PM
- This part-time position will require 2-3 days per week
- Day(s) of the Week: Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- Flexibility for weekends and holidays may be required.
