PMI SFBAC Program Overview
PMISFBAC Programs offer a unified ecosystem of services designed to support professionals in their
career development and transitions. The programs cater to a diverse range of professionals, from
those exploring new opportunities to seasoned experts, through initiatives like Career Quest,
Mentorship, Next Generation Leaders, Professional Development, and Sustainability Programs. There
is a steerco that oversees these programs with a primary focus on developing the next generation of
project management professionals.
KEY INFORMATION
● The first three months of this position are probationary. During this time, refrain from publicizing your title for personal benefits. After probation, social media disclosure is permitted.
● The executive leadership panel (CEO, CPO, Strategic Advisors & Board members) reserve the right to reassess and adjust the role based on performance and professionalism.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the execution of the designated project(s), ensuring the outcome meets the defined success criteria and achieving the predetermined KPIs. You are responsible that project scope is executed within the planned schedule and (if applicable)) within budget.

● Ensure adherence to chapter policies and guidelines.
PLANNING & EXECUTION
● Gather and prioritize requirements, develop project plans, and support the execution as servant leaders.
● Identify risks and develop a risk management plan.
● Communicate effectively with upper management to secure buy-in and maintain transparency.
● Facilitate discussions to level-set expectations and achieve targeted outputs.
● Partner in developing success metrics and dashboard that provides da-driven insights.
● Track and assess project success.
● Conduct retrospectives, collect feedback, assist with the report developments.
● Conduct post delivery evaluation and support improvements based on lessons learned.

QUALIFICATIONS
● Promotion Based
○ 6-9 months in a chapter program team, or based on performance evaluations and peer feedback.
● Direct Hire
○ 1-2 years of professional experience as a project associate or other adjunct roles.
○ Successful completion of interviews with peers, directors, and VPs
COMMITMENT
● Minimum of 4-5 hours per week for a one-year term.
