Banner Project Manager Remote (Onsite Initially)
Location: Remote/Fort Pierce, FL
- Onsite for the first 2 months, at least 3 to 4 days per week, to build trust and confidence.
- After the initial 2 months, onsite travel will be required 3 to 4 days per month or as needed.
Duration: 12 15 months
<>Job Summary:Project Manager to lead and oversee projects related to conversion from Workday to Ellucian Banner. The ideal candidate will have a background in project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as experience managing multiple Banner-related initiatives.
<>Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and coordinate calls with Ellucian Banner and internal work groups.
- Take detailed meeting notes and communicate key takeaways to stakeholders.
- Track and share project documentation from the Ellucian project site to the internal MS Teams site, including Zoom recordings and files.
- Triage and address concerns from functional project teams.
- Manage project resources, including scheduling, timelines, and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Teams).
- Provide formal reports and present project progress to leadership.
- Develop and distribute meeting agendas before internal calls.
- Capture and share meeting notes after internal discussions.
- Communicate action items and task requirements to ensure project timelines are met.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to functional teams.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within higher education or ERP implementations.
- Hands-on experience managing Ellucian Banner projects.
- Strong understanding of project coordination, scheduling, and resource management.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet, MS Teams, and other project management tools.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed, onsite 3-4 days per week for first few months.
- Travel expenses covered.
