Position Summary:
The Accounting Coordinator is a vital support role that ensures smooth and efficient operations within the accounting department. This position requires a combination of strong organizational skills, accounting knowledge, to effectively manage day-to-day processes, and maintain accurate records to provide accounting support to ensure the seamless operation of the office.
A successful Accounting Coordinator plays a crucial role in transforming our accounting function into a strategic value center, directly contributing to the overall success of the company.

Essential Functions:
Accounting
While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be regularly required to use hands to type on a computer and calculator, handle paperwork and sort, file or manipulate documents. The employee may be required to stand and walk. The employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds occasionally.

Essential Functions:
Accounting
- Accounts Receivable
- Monthly Invoice reconciliation to ensure alignment with Client Budgets.
- Create and process invoices using QuickBooks (QBO)
- Posting Cash Receipts accurately
- Assist with Sales Tax Calculations
- Account Payable
- Reconciling and Process Vendors invoices
- Code and Track Credit Care expenses
- Accounting Department Support
- Provide general support to the accounting department, as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, including opportunities to leverage advanced Excel or other technology to automate manual processes or eliminate redundant processes. Vendor Management
- Proven experience in administrative support, with exposure to accounting and HR functions.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- 1-2 year experience preferred in accounting/bookkeeping or a related field a plus.
