What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector and Manager position at PMR Global?
Contribute to our Quality environment via professional inspection, knowledgeable specification / drawing interpretation and experience. Checking parts before and after 3rd party processes, ability to understand customer specifications for all part requirements. Disposition non-conforming material. Proficient use of CMM and Keyence optical comparators are integral to insure PMR quality systems. Track and follow up all CARS and NCRs. We are looking for someone who has a sense or urgency, understands the importance of on-time delivery, is ambitious and after proving their job performance would look forward to assuming more responsibility in our Quality system.
* Create inspection plans
* Be able to Inspect parts
* Generate First Article and IMS sheets using programs such as solid works inspector or Visual FAire
* Trouble shoot manufacturing issues
* Responsible for the calibration of all company and employee owned measuring equipment and maintenance of ISO Calibration schedule
* Ensure all certifications from sub-tier suppliers are reviewed signed and scanned into the applicable folders, i.e, part number, raw material vendor, etc. Copies retained for customer review.
* Generate and maintain First Article/Inspection folders for each customer by part number. Hard copy and in the active drawing directory.
* Perform Internal Audits and follow up on CARS
Essential duties
* Ability to Program or learn to program Zeiss CMM from Solid & 2D drawings
* Monitor product quality through complete manufacturing process
* Assists in troubleshooting/problem solving based on inspection results
* Interpret engineering drawings with regard to quality & reliability standards
* Surface plate inspection setups
* First piece, First Article/AS9000 requirements, receiving and in process inspections
* Monitor and maintain inspection equipment
* Capable of reading and understanding blueprints including GD&T
* Work with manufacturing to improve process operations
* Enter inspection results into appropriate software
* Follow AS9100/ISO procedures
* Ability to read and interpret Drawings, specifications, technical flow down is a must
*Integrate with customer portals such as Bell Helicopter and Lockheed Martin
*Aerospace experience is a plus
* Experience as a machinist is a plus

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
As assigned by GM and/or Operations Manager. Support production where needed

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
