Location
This role is hybrid/remote, but requires significant travel within the region—up to 75% of the time. Candidates must either reside in the Boise, Idaho area or be willing to relocate to this region.
Role Overview
As the Operations Manager, you’ll be a crucial member of our operations management team, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth start-up and ongoing success of our advanced practice clinics. You’ll collaborate closely with staff, management, and clients to maintain the highest standards of care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinic Operations: Oversee all aspects of clinic setup, including build-out, training, onboarding, and ongoing operations ensuring the success of our advanced practice clinics in line with contract requirements and PMR standards.
- Operational Leadership: Provide comprehensive administrative and operational direction for multiple advanced practice clinics.
- Team Management: Lead and supervise full-time, part-time, and contract medical staff, including responsibilities for recruitment, training, performance management, and goal setting.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Regularly engage with staff, management, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and address needs.
- Corporate Collaboration: Work with the corporate office on training, IT needs, staffing, accounting, procurement, and staff development.
- Mission Support: Collaborate with executive management and supervising physicians to advance the clinical mission and objectives.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain professional relationships with local and corporate clients, promoting PMR Healthcare’s values and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Oversee multiple budgets, control expenses, and assist with revenue generation and financial planning.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, operational, medical, safety, and workplace standards across all locations.
- Advocacy: Represent the interests of clients, patients, and PMR Healthcare in all interactions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 5 years in healthcare management or a similar role, with practical experience in a multi-clinic or medical practice environment.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing teams, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving conflicts.
- Operational Expertise: Strong skills in workflow optimization, process redesign, and stakeholder buy-in.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience in fiscal management, budget development, and expense control.
- Credibility: Ability to establish and maintain respect with healthcare practitioners, physicians, and client executives.
- Knowledge: Understanding of workers’ compensation and occupational health and wellness is a plus.
