As a Fixed Income Trader Associate - Buy Side within PNC's Asset Management Fixed Income organization, you will be based in Philadelphia, PA. Preferred skills/experience includes: *Fixed Income trading/operations experience *Exposure to or experience with fixed income electronic trading platforms *Python/VB/VBA exposure or experience *Data collection and data analytic skills *Strong verbal and electronic communication ability Job Description Partners with trading team members to support the trade process and settlement of transactions. Coordinates with trading team. Assists with trading strategy by making effective, generally accepted recommendations. Assists in data collection, research and coordination among operations, portfolio manager and trading desk. Assists in settlement of securities. Assists in performing risk analyses and portfolio/position management, market analysis, financial analyses and/or due diligence on key indicators. Produces reports related to trade position and activity. Works with internal partners in developing reports. Draws independent conclusions and makes generally accepted recommendations based on data, to provide client relationship support. Researches industry, client, product, market and regulatory issues. Gains proficiency with all tools, systems and other resources. Managing Multiple Priorities – Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. Problem Solving – Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Trading – Knowledge of and ability to engage in the transfer of financial assets in any financial market on behalf of an investor in order to capitalize on short-term trends. Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2 years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
