This position can be based in Pittsburgh PA or Cleveland OH. Responsibilities require time in the office or in a field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.
The Enterprise Telecommunications Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing PNC’s telecommunications infrastructure ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business needs. The ideal candidate should the experience managing large- scale Enterprise Telecommunication environments and possess strong leadership skills to support the ordering / provisioning Telco services, vendor relationships, expense management, supporting any special projects and implementing risk management strategies while staying updated on industry trends and compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- tStrategic Planning :
- tAssess current telecommunications needs and develop a comprehensive strategy to optimize network infrastructure, including future technology upgrades and cost-saving initiatives.
- tCollaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their communication requirements and integrate them into the overall telecommunications plan.
- tConduct market research to identify emerging technologies and evaluate potential vendors for new services and equipment.
- tProvisioning and Management :
- tOversee the ordering, provisioning, and maintenance of all telecommunications infrastructure for voice and data networks.
- tManage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
- tMonitor network performance and capacity, identify potential issues, and engage the appropriate teams to troubleshoot any problems promptly.
- tCost Optimization :
- tAnalyze telecommunications usage and costs to identify areas for cost reduction.
- tNegotiate pricing with vendors and explore cost-effective solutions.
- tDevelop budget plans for telecommunications expenses and track expenditures against the budget.
- tCompliance and Regulatory :
- tEnsure compliance with all relevant telecommunications regulations and industry standards.
- tStay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to operations.
