What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter Assistant position at Pneumatech Safety Systems, Inc.?
Job Function:
The position is to assist a journeyman painter in prepping for paint and painting as directed.
Job Duties:
- Preparing surfaces for coating as directed. Preparation may include pressure washing, sand blasting, washing with various cleaners, sanding, wire brushing or other methods.
- Applying protective coatings to buildings and equipment
- Painting as directed by journeyman printer
- May be required to perform duties unrelated to painting
- Performs other related duties as directed
Required Abilities and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- A valid driver's license
- Must be physically capable of performing the job
- Ability to communicate effectively and work co-operatively with fellow staff
- Ability to work independently
