Job Summary
The HCM Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing direct report sales team members and the overall sales performance of their team, comprised of HCM Sales Consultants. The HCM Territory Sales Manager works closely with the Senior Vice President of Sales in relation to achieving revenue targets and collaborating with Marketing, Implementation, and Operations, ensuring no walls or silos exist between departments, demonstrating the desire and willingness to be a team player and create a winning environment.

Job Summary
The HCM Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing direct report sales team members and the overall sales performance of their team, comprised of HCM Sales Consultants. The HCM Territory Sales Manager works closely with the Senior Vice President of Sales in relation to achieving revenue targets and collaborating with Marketing, Implementation, and Operations, ensuring no walls or silos exist between departments, demonstrating the desire and willingness to be a team player and create a winning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all HCM Consultant's activity, pipeline progression, funnel conversion metrics, and overall quality of written communication and sales conversations.
- Create a culture of accountability and performance for each HCM Consultant.
- Exude extreme ownership of the assigned sales team's quota for client retention, upsell, and new business.
- Assist with RFPs and FEIN client change submissions
- Recruit new sales team members through networking and LinkedIn (or other channels), and be responsible for helping coach, mentor, and train new team members.
- Ensure event logistics are taken care of, in conjunction with the marketing team.
- Assist with inbound lead qualification and assignment.
- Monitor key metrics including leading and lagging indicators for sales forecasts, and implementation SLAs to ensure deals start, client retention, and revenue expansion.
- Regularly analyze sales data and report on performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with the SVP on strategic quarterly initiatives and provide a feedback loop on qualified leads, open deals, planned events and trusted advisor partnerships.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge of the HCM industry, especially PNI
- HCM solutions, and offerings.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
- 3-7 years of HCM sales experience.
- 2 years in a sales management role with proven success in quota attainment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite - especially Excel and PPT
- CRM - preferably HubSpot
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
- Thirst for knowledge, willingness to grow and develop.
- Strong understanding of HCM solutions, payroll, benefits, and workforce management technology.
- Superior organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Able to multi-task, manage and complete time-sensitive cross-functional projects.
- BA/BS in Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience preferred.

- Proficient in PPT
- HubSpot or CRM related experience
- Strong skills in B2B sales
- Executive communication skills
- History of attaining quota
- Managed a team of at least 2 individuals
- Elite Prospecting Skills
- Mid-Market or Enterprise sales experience
- Familiar with multi-thread sales prospecting
- Built relationships with Trusted Advisors in the past
