Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to lead our construction projects from start to finish. The Superintendent is responsible for on-site activities occurring at the construction site on a day-to-day basis, understanding quality standards, and ensuring the safety and security of the site. They provide overall management and ensure compliance with these standards, and communicate and negotiate with external partners (vendors and sub-contractors).
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs.
2. Set performance goals and deadlines for the project.
3. Plan construction processes and manage schedules.
4. Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget.
5. Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.
6. Monitor and report on project progress.
7. Implement safety and quality guidelines.
8. Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance.
9. Keep track of material stock and orders.
10. Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly.
11. Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role
2. Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
3. In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
4. Familiarity with Construction Management software
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
6. Organizational and time-management skills
7. Driver's License (Required)

Compensation:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $84,000 base salary to start, increasing to $98,000 after probationary period
Benefits:
Medical insurance 80% paid by the company, dental and eye insurance 80% paid by the company in 60 days after the start of work, 401K pension plan after 1 year of service with the company, 10 days of paid holiday per year, 10 federal holidays per year 40 hours of paid sick leave.
