MAIN FUNCTION:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for PNY’s US commercial business, responsible for the development of PNY’s regional channel business in the US, and for associated revenue
- Responsible for establishing other PNY product sales into the same regional channel business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent; MBA a plus
- At least 12 years previous sales experience, in a technology environment
- At least 5 years managerial and supervisory experience
- Excellent oral, written, communication, and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively in English
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to successfully influence people at all levels
- Significant experience with creating and managing business plans
- Ability to problem solve where there is no precedent
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to travel at least 25%

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and manage strategic business plans for Regional US commercial business
- Develop revenue, product and budgetary forecasts for the regional US commercial business
- Take the lead in developing and maintaining positive work relationships with other functional areas
- Develop and coach direct reports in the creation of sales strategies, revenue targets and account management goals
- Regularly provide information to Director of Channel Sales on business activity, forecast and direction
- Provide advice on complex, sensitive or controversial matters regarding sales relations, strategic planning, or coordination of personnel
- Create and oversee the management of and evaluate the Regional US commercial sales programs
- Keep current with market conditions and potential to determine customer needs, volume potential, pricing and competitive landscape
- Evaluate sales reports (sales volume and potential sales); recommend appropriate adjustments to business direction
- Identify and communicate business goals and sales quotas to commercial team
- Conduct regular business plan review and performance evaluations with direct reports and customers to ensure company goals and strategies are understood and being achieved/implemented
- Work closely with key vendor partners to manage product roadmap, and sales strategies to drive toward #1 market share
- Work closely with Distribution Sales Manager to help monitor forecast and inventory flows
- Assist in other areas, as assigned
