This individual will be a bright and dynamic leader with hands-on experience.
King's Landing is a professionally landscaped 108-unit apartment community on 17 acres and located in beautiful Brewster, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. We offer one-, two- and three-bedroom garden style units as well as four-bedroom townhouses.
Job Summary
- Ensure a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Be knowledgeable of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations.
- Monitor the condition of apartment property throughout the community and take immediate action to correct unsafe conditions.
- Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties.
- Detect and perform minor and routine maintenance/repairs.
- E nsure all make-ready repairs and services are completed.
- Inspect and coordinate needed make-ready repairs and services.
- Assist in keeping grounds neat and clean.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance.
- High School diploma or GED required. HVAC certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and automobile insurance coverage required.
- Flexible schedule with weekends and on-call basis required.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, measuring devices.
- Ability to perform tasks 66-100% of the time: be on feet, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, climb stairs, push/pull, reach above shoulder, climb ladders, grasp/grip/turn, finger dexterity, lift/carry up to 75lbs, read and understand maintenance forms and warning labels.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
