About the YouTube Specialist Role:
The YouTube Specialist will play a key role in growing audiochuck’s YouTube channels by implementing best practices, testing new strategies, and optimizing content for maximum engagement. This role will work closely with Production and Marketing teams to drive viewership and ensure our YouTube presence aligns with our brand and growth objectives.
What You’ll Do:
Thumbnail Creation and A/B Testing – Continuously test and optimize thumbnails to improve click-through rates (CTR).
Title Testing & Optimization – Experiment with video titles to increase discoverability and engagement.
Backend Tagging & Metadata Optimization – Implement best practices for tags, descriptions, and SEO strategies to enhance video searchability.
Clip Identification & Execution – Identify compelling moments from long-form content to repurpose into engaging clips.
Playlist Strategy - Curate, publish, and maintain meaningful playlists in order maximize viewership
YouTube Shorts Strategy – Ideate, create, and publish Shorts to drive reach and audience growth.
Long Form Performance and Industry Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of internal long-form YouTube content, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization. Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends to recommend innovative strategies that enhance audience engagement and content visibility.
KPI Tracking & Reporting – Monitor key performance metrics (CTR, AVD, impressions, subscriber growth, and more) and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Content Optimization & Experimentation – Continuously test new approaches to improve overall channel performance.
Collaboration – Work with internal teams to align YouTube strategy with broader marketing and content initiatives.
What You Will Bring to the Table:
2 years of experience managing and optimizing YouTube channels, preferably in media, entertainment, or podcasting.
Strong understanding of YouTube’s algorithm, analytics, and best practices for audience growth.
Experience with A/B testing, metadata optimization, and SEO for video content.
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Proficiency with YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, and video editing tools is a plus.
A passion for storytelling and an eye for compelling content.
