Responsibilities:
Perform general repairs and maintenance across multiple properties, including HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
Address and resolve issues such as sewer backups, general handyman tasks, and other property maintenance needs.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become emergencies.
Oversee snow removal during winter months to ensure property safety and accessibility.
Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance issues, responding promptly to after-hours emergencies.
Resolve emergency maintenance needs such as plumbing leaks, electrical failures, HVAC breakdowns, etc.
Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and readily available for use.
Keep an organized inventory of tools and supplies, and report when new materials are needed.
Communicate effectively with the property management team and residents regarding maintenance issues and timelines.
Provide clear, professional communication in English at all times.
Qualifications:
3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a multi-family property setting.
Expertise in HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general handyman skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
Experience with snow removal procedures during the winter months.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Must have a reliable set of tools for various maintenance tasks.
Must be able to work well independently and within a team.
Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).
Ability to respond to emergencies efficiently and effectively.
