Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Identify students with communication disorders through comprehensive evaluations, interpreting diagnostic data to determine the presence and extent of speech or language impairments.
- Individualized Planning: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Provide evidence-based therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication disorders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom setting, offering strategies and resources to support student progress.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, progress reports, and therapy sessions, ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology, participating in ongoing training and workshops.
