Position: Sales & Marketing Coordinator - First Tactical
Reports To: Merchandising Director
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Salary: $25-$28.00
SUMMARY:
In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing both sales and marketing initiatives that drive business growth and brand visibility. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless collaboration, effective lead generation, and the successful execution of marketing campaigns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Coordination:
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to create and maintain sales presentations, proposals, and other sales collateral. Ensure all sales materials are up to date and aligned with the company’s messaging.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with lead information, sales activity, and follow-up actions.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, including lead conversion rates, sales pipeline activity, and performance against targets.
- Customer Communications: Assist in preparing and sending customer communications, including quotes, follow-up emails, and newsletters.
- Order Management: Support the sales team in processing and booking customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- Wear Test Coordination: Manage the wear test process by selecting participants, organizing product shipments, collecting feedback from testers, and ensuring timely follow-up to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Marketing Coordination:
- Campaign Management: Support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns (email, digital, social media, etc.) aimed at increasing brand awareness and driving leads for the sales team.
- Content Creation: Help develop marketing content such as blog posts, website updates, social media posts, and promotional materials that resonate with target audiences.
- Event and Tradeshow Support: Assist in coordinating events, trade shows, and other marketing initiatives designed to engage prospects and customers.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity to inform marketing strategies.
General Coordination:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment of goals, strategies, and campaigns.
- Project Management: Coordinate and oversee various sales and marketing projects from conception to execution, ensuring all deadlines and objectives are met.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and organize customer feedback from sales interactions, surveys, and other channels to help improve marketing strategies.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
· 1-3 years of experience in a sales and/or marketing coordination role.
· Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Experience with CRM systems and marketing tools.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other marketing material creation platforms.
· Knowledge of digital marketing practices, social media platforms, and content creation.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK CONDITIONS:
· Sitting: The role requires extended periods of sitting at a desk or workstation, with occasional breaks.
· Typing and Computer Work: Frequent use of a computer, including mouse, keyboard, and graphic design software, requiring dexterity and visual acuity.
· Vision: Ability to see clearly and distinguish fine details in design work and screen-based tasks for extended periods.
