Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:
- Specialized Focus: Experience in sourcing for professional roles requiring master's degrees and above in the healthcare and education industries.
- Recruitment Expertise: Strong background in creating compelling emails, conducting daily outreach, and managing high volumes of candidate communications (50 outreaches daily).
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and manage candidate interviews, including coordinating 2nd round video/in-person interviews.
- Social media and Networking Proficiency: Leverage social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and professional networks to engage with potential candidates, promote hiring events, and build an influencer profile.
- Database Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive database for current and future hires, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up.
- Targeted Sourcing: Proficiency in using job boards such as really, Handshake, and other relevant platforms to identify and contact candidates who meet specific qualifications.
- Goal Achievement: Ability to meet and exceed recruiting targets, contributing to overall recruitment goals and performance metrics.
- Adaptability: Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the department, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
- Event Participation: Attend conferences and engage with new graduate classes at universities to network and build relationships with potential candidates.
- Workshop Facilitation: Conduct monthly virtual workshops geared towards new graduates, providing valuable insights into the recruitment process and career opportunities in the healthcare and education industries.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Qualifications:
- Experience: At least one year as a Sourcer, Recruitment Agent, or similar role. Experience recruiting on a national scale for these roles is highly preferred.
- Advanced Degree Familiarity: Preferred understanding of advanced degree requirements for high-level roles in the healthcare and/or education industries.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and ATS programs.
- Organizational Skills: Superior time management and organizational abilities.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Physical Requirements:
- Physical Activity: This role involves extended periods of sitting and viewing computer screens. There will be frequent standing during job fairs and conferences. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodation, is also required.
