The Macro Middle Office Trade Processing and Position Team is responsible for the development, maintenance, and automation of the systems that process trade executions into position keeping systems. The systems support a wide range of financial products and asset classes including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and credit. The team is global with personnel and service providers located throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.

The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$225,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

The Macro Middle Office Trade Processing and Position Team is responsible for the development, maintenance, and automation of the systems that process trade executions into position keeping systems. The systems support a wide range of financial products and asset classes including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and credit. The team is global with personnel and service providers located throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
What you’ll do
- Analyze and document business processes, listening to management, stakeholders and developers.
- Research, measure, and analyze requirements and translate to implementation specifications, including one-off enhancement requests as well as large-scale projects.
- Understand functional and process requirements, relevant system(s) and data to define optimal deliverable to meet business needs as well as technology goals.
- Build consensus between stakeholders and developers to define clear and testable acceptance criteria.
- Work with developers throughout the SDLC process, validate deliverables, and see them through to production release.
- Document data and process flows, both existing and proposed.
- Work with the team lead to organize, maintain, and track capacity, velocity, statuses, and deliverables.
- 3 years of financial services industry experience as a Business Analyst with a proven track record of improving business and operational processes.
- Experience working with a third-party books and records system (Orchestrade, Murex, Calypso, FIS or close competitors).
- Fundamental knowledge of financial products including fixed income, FX, credit, equities, commodities, and derivatives and associated trade capture and position lifecycle management, including P&L.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency with presentation software.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, complex environment. Comfortable with multitasking and handling high pressure situations that could arise from production issues.
