What you’ll do

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Commodities Technology to establish and lead the technology framework for our new Commodities business. In this role, you will design and implement cutting-edge technology solutions that empower our Commodities portfolio managers to trade effectively and efficiently. Specifically, you will:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy tailored to the needs of the Commodities business/group
• Lead the creation and deployment of trading systems and platforms that support commodities portfolio managers
• Collaborate closely with portfolio managers to understand their trading requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions
• Integrate advanced data analytics and real-time market data into the trading process to optimize decision-making
• Ensure the technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable to support high-frequency trading activities
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the division remains at the forefront of innovation
• Build and lead a team of technology professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement

What’s required

• Experience across Commodities asset classes with particular emphasis on power (US & EU) and natural gas
• Experience working with third party implementation vendors to set up the CTRM solutions (i.e. Endur OpenLink).
• Proven experience leading high-performing technology teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and other stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into actionable insights

The annual base salary range for this role is $350,000-$400,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
