Pointe Advisory (Pointe) is looking for summer interns who are excited to join our team in delivering value to our clients while learning and developing new skills. As a Consulting Intern in Life Sciences, you will spend 10 weeks gaining real world life sciences and pharmaceutical consulting experience and networking with great people. You will directly support Pointe Health, an innovative and entrepreneurial subsidiary of Pointe Advisory.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Consulting Intern in Life Sciences, you represent the engine of our Great People, Great Clients, and Great Work Mantra! You will provide evidence-based research and analysis that will enable the delivery of Great Work to some of the world’s top pharmaceuticals, biotech, and medical device organizations. More specifically, you will:
- Conduct original primary research by participating in executive-level interviews with industry experts
- Engage in secondary research and analysis of news, publications, and industry events to provide clients with original insight into market dynamics and the shifting pharmaceutical landscape
- Identify emerging trends, competitive forces, and innovative developments through strategic analyses
- Synthesize insights and recommendations for client deliverables (with an emphasis on visualizations)
- Positively contribute to the dynamic, high-achieving atmosphere of the firm
- Participate in company-sponsored networking events

- Junior standing in a full-time academic program (BS or BA in progress) with a clear track record of academic excellence (minimum 3.5 GPA) in the life sciences field (i.e., biology, chemistry, neuroscience, etc.) OR
- Senior standing in a full-time academic program (BS or BA in progress) with a clear track record of academic excellence (minimum 3.5 GPA) planning to pursue a master’s degree in biomedical sciences or biomedical engineering
- An aptitude for on-the-job learning and networking
- Well-honed business acumen and analytical skills
- Strong communication, technical writing, and critical thinking skills
- An aptitude for networking, primary research, and secondary research
- Work ethic, dedicated, organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
- Time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
- Foreign language capabilities are a plus
