Summary
The Commercial Lines Claims Liaison serves as a bridge between Sales, Service, and the Carrier, ensuring efficient communication and coordination. Collaborating with the Service Team, this position will collect loss information and promptly report it to the Carrier while also proactively providing updates to the Insured / Customer. Additionally, this position will participate in the audit and review of larger risk profiles to support ongoing development efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between Sales, Service, and the Carrier.
- Act as the intermediary between the Carrier and the Insured / Customer, ensuring effective information exchange.
- Organize and submit claims reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Address audit inquiries and concerns related to claims data.
- Provide and verify claims data in collaboration with the actuary.
- Reconcile claims data with financial records for accuracy.
- Monitor and track losses and reserves to keep abreast of claim developments.
- Act as back-up to Account Manager and Account Service Manager roles when needed.
- Assist Producers and Account Managers with complex claims situations.
- Act as a liaison between the client and the carrer claims representatives.
- Partner with Producers on renewal and client communication to put together claims data and assist with putting together risk analysis.
- Assist Producers with new business for large accounts by reviewing and analyzing claims data and putting together claims narratives.
- Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
