Jobsite Safety Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Jobsite Safety Manager to oversee a construction project for roughly 2 months with potential for more work following. The ideal candidate will ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction management, and the ability to effectively communicate.

Duties
- Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards.
- Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Implement OSHA regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential risks or issues.
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking, reporting, and documentation.
- Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards on-site.

- Communication between other Safety Manager onsite.

- Evaluating risk and mitigation measures to the MGH campus and patients

- Continuous proactive approach.

Daily:

- Onboarding new employees

- Make sure employee attend the project orientation

- Assist in new working registration

- Manage worker training documents

- Review JHA’s with all new workers and complete the sign in process

- Submit Daily Huddle

- Submit Weekly TBT

- Manage Daily Stretch/Flex

- Jobsite safety inspections

- Ensure crew is compliant with OSHA & jobsite safety standards

Pay: $23.20 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
