Our client in Atlanta is seeking a Master Data Analyst (3 openings).
REMOTE 6 Month contract opportunity
Compensation is 30-40/hour
**** Will strongly consider a new grad who has recently graduated with either an actuarial, data science or data analysis background. Must have very strong Excel skills.
Summary
The Product Master Analyst is responsible for managing the ongoing quality, accuracy, and completeness of corporate master data across the organization.They ensure master data integrity in the ERP and other key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support data integrity and quality. Responsible for assisting in standardizing processes to streamline efficiencies while ensuring proper audit trail. The analyst also handles data quality reports to ensure data standards are being met - identify, investigate, and resolve data gaps, and actively find opportunities for process improvements. This position works very closely with the Product Management, Customer Service, IT, as well as Commercial Teams including; Sales, Sales Support, and Operations.
Essential Duties
Work with team on major projects
Conduct periodic data cleaning to update product item codes based on company policy
Assist in the cleanup of existing products in ERP based on new policy and processes.
Processes master data requests in line with standard processes and respond to queries in a timely fashion.
Understands the impact of master data within the organization and systems for applicable data domains.
Updates the ERP and other key systems for Product master data for new or existing products
Maintain product name and item code changes within systems.
Work with Product Management to determine item set up needs
Maintain product information within the framework of given policy
Requirements
High School diploma required, some college is a plus
Manages multiple tasks, should be detail oriented, responsive, and demonstrate independent thought and critical thinking.
Organized methodical application of established data governance standards
Comfortable pushing back with stakeholders to protect the integrity of the data management process.
Inquisitive and thorough in approach
Displays a passion for working in master data management.
Self-motivated, flexible, with the ability to deal with high levels of complexity, change and evolving processes, often at short notice.
Work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
Ability to work and communicate well with a group.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Construction Industry knowledge is a plus
