Polaris Modular, a Salt Lake City based modular builder focused on manufacturing steel-built residential and light commercial projects, is quickly growing and looking to hire a HVAC Specialist with the right knowledge and experience to our team.

Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial units.
- Install heating, ventilation, air conditioning units.
- Install required air duct work.
- Install ventilation fans and ductwork.
- Install condensate lines and charge.
- Install dryer duct.
- Perform brazing and refrigerant handling tasks with precision.
- Conduct routine inspections and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Train new employees as assigned.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Lead, Production Manager or VP of Manufacturing.
Skills and experience needed:
- Certification in brazing and refrigerant handling.
- Proven experience in HVAC installation and maintenance: 2 -5 years experience.
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems, including dryer vents.
- Understanding of U.S. construction methods
- Understands all tool requirements and proper usage
- Ability to take direction from Production Management
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Understand blueprints and specifications in English
- Attention to detail
- Follow safety training protocol
- Following company Standard Operating Procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
