What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of HR Operations position at Polaris Placement, LLC?
Polaris Placement specializes in helping medical professionals like you find a career path that fulfills your needs—personal, financial, and aspirational.
But hey, we know there are no perfect jobs. However, there are better ones. So here’s your chance to discover one that could be a great fit for you:
Are you ready to apply your HR Operations expertise where it can truly make a difference?
Do you thrive when you are trusted to do the right thing in the right way?
Here’s the scoop: We’ve got an opportunity for a dynamic leader to take the reins as the Director of HR Operations at a major safety-net hospital in the New York City area.
You’ll be the go-to person for all things HR operations: managing benefits and compensation, leading HRIS implementations, and ensuring compliance with healthcare HR policies and union regulations. You’ll also have the power to shape policies and procedures that keep the hospital running smoothly, report to the VP of HR, and lead a talented team of HR professionals.
You’ll be front and center when it comes to streamlining HR processes, working closely with leadership to enhance employee engagement and improve workforce strategy in a large healthcare system. And you won’t be micro-managed!
This role is best suited for someone with:
- 5 years of HR operations experience, ideally in a not-for-profit, unionized healthcare environment.
- Strong expertise in HRIS, benefits administration, compliance, and process improvement.
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A collaborative, strategic thinker with a track record of driving efficiency in HR functions.
