This internship will be located in our Mahwah, NJ headquarters where we embrace a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).
Let us describe the challenge we offer
The Finance Data Science Intern will have the opportunity to obtain real world experience working directly with our finance team supporting Polestars North American business operations. You will work directly with our finance team to enable data transparency and information flow by building a set of dashboards to be used in performance measurement and target setting. In this role you will gain exposure to various departments and taking deep dives into dashboards and reporting that directly impact our business.
What you’ll do
- Build dashboards in Power BI through collaboration with business, finance and IT
- Support efficient month-end reporting by automating data manipulation and consolidation
- Identify areas for process automation in implement required changes.
- Perform a deep dive analysis into the US market to prepare reporting and dashboards that directly support our commercial business.
- Provide critical insights and trends that help to shape the decisions of key business stakeholders.
