Retail Network Development and Project Planning Intern

At Polestar, we don't just drive innovation in our cars – our entire business model is different from our competitors. We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Network Development team for our Summer Internship program.

This internship will be located in our Mahwah, NJ headquarters where we embrace a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office per week (Tues, Wed, Thur).

Let us describe the challenge we offer

You will be an integral part of our network development team, responsible for evaluation and early-stage design for prospective locations. You will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across Polestar North America, Polestar Headquarters and our expanding retail network. This candidate should have a strong affinity for architecture, the automotive business and the ability to work on many projects, simultaneously.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for internal insight and approvals.
• Assist internal team during design and construction process, including due diligence and production of exhibits.
• Participate in project coordination calls, taking notes and monitoring follow-ups.
• Prepare project presentation information.
• Support landlord coordination and associated drawing reviews.
• Active role in improving design standards.
• Catalogue and manage program charts and spaces layouts for design reference.
  
  

Who You Are

• Strong preference for Architecture or Design related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solver, self-starter and detail-oriented.
• Excellent time management, technical and organizational skills.
• Occasional Travel to Job Sites
