What are the responsibilities and job description for the RTCC Bridge Supervisor position at Police?
Position Summary
Bridge supervisors in the Real Time Crime Center monitor and supervise shifts of operators in the Real Time Crime Center who monitor calls for service and provide real-time information to responding officers so that situational awareness is improved and more informed decisions can be made in the field.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and
Four (4) years of experience in law enforcement intelligence analysis , or data analysis; and
To include two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Operational knowledge of a Real Time Crime Center, Decision Support Centers or Fusion Centers preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, NCIC Certification, within six (6) months from date of hire.
Possession of National Incident Management System (NIMS) Certification preferred.
Successfully pass the National Criminal Intelligence Recourse Center's 28 CFR Part 23 training within six (6) months from date of hire.
Satisfactory complete on-the-job training and pass the Real Time Crime Center Certification exam.
Holidays, evenings, weekends, irregular flexible hours and shift work may be required with possible extension of shift hours at times with short notice.
Must pass Drug Test, Hearing Test, Criminal Records check, and Background check.

- Rules and regulations governing the operation of communications radio transmittal and receiving system
- Principles and procedures used in operating 9-1-1 system General law enforcement codes, practices and methods
- Modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment and operations
- Effective decision making/problem solving based on a limited amount of information in crisis or emergency situations
- Advanced methods and techniques of research and data analysis
- Principles of supervision and training
- Principles and procedures of record keeping
- Business English, spelling, grammar and punctuation required to compose and proofread written documents
