What are the responsibilities and job description for the Voter Outreach Coordinator position at Political Campaign?
About us
We are looking for a person driven to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Organizers will work closely with the Regional Organizing Director to develop and implement direct voter contact strategies to engage voters in every neighborhood of Chicago. The largest portion of an organizer’s time will be spent communicating with our team of volunteers and voters over the phone, by text, and at the doors.
Petitioner Responsibilities ($18/hr ):
- Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner
- Deliver a compelling campaign message, and collect complete survey answers from voters
- Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills
- Strictly follow the campaign's safety protocols, including the use of PPE and compliance with daily health and safety guidelines
The ideal candidate:
- Passionate about this issue
- Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone
- Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible
- Interested in building their campaign skills
- Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community
- Prior canvassing experience is not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
