What you’ll do:
- Pursuits
- Be a marketing hero during the development and production of RFQ/RFP responses (qualifications packets, proposals, and interview materials) so that Polk wins.
- Assemble submissions with masterful storytelling and compliance.
- Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to craft narratives highlighting who we are, what we do, and how we do it.
- Write content, create templates, and develop graphics for pursuits packages.
- Coach internal stakeholders in interview preparation and presentation skills.
- Data-Driven Strategic Marketer
- Be a Polk curator by updating and maintaining a library of marketing collateral (print and electronic), personnel resumes, project case studies, experience lists, photos, graphics, and differentiators.
- Explore the market for construction and service through strategic research, opportunity tracking, and data analysis, finding new ways for Polk to engage customers and grow.
- Prequalification’s
- Showcase the Polk strength to clients through prequalification packets that are accurate, timely, and professionally packaged. Internally, you’ll engage SMEs to gather information and maintain confidentiality.
- Industry Thought Leader
- Channel your inner entrepreneur by supporting Polk’s sales team with innovative, thoughtful campaigns, events, and sponsorships.
- Write and assemble industry awards submissions that highlight Polk, our projects, and our people.
What you bring:
- Confidence, attention to detail, and demonstrated understanding of qualifications/proposal coordination, development, and production, preferably in the AEC Industry.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in software common to an AEC marketer’s toolbox: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Canva.
- A journalistic proficiency with content writing, proofreading, editing, not only your own work but in collaboration with others.
- Passion in fostering positive working relationships with the people of Polk Nation (internal and external customers).
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications, or commensurate experience, preferably in our industry.
- Certifications are a plus: CPSM or APMP
- Grit and determination to get your tasks done and be self-motivated to dominate in your role.
- 2-5 years of professional experience.
- Hubspot experience is a plus.
- A high degree of confidentiality and integrity when working.
- Experience in the AEC industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with using AI tools and technology.
- Familiarity with databases and CRMs.
