Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Measurement Technician to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in ABB PCCU32, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Must have advanced knowledge of various types of EFM's and test equipment. Must be familiar with orifice meters and electronic flow meters with some gas analysis experience. The Technician will be responsible for maintaining high safety standards while executing tasks that require basic math skills and logical reasoning. A valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate and maintain test instrumentation and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform measurement sampling, and regulation operations and maintenance at facilities.
- Assist with new meter installations, preventative maintenance, and field solutions for measurement related problems.
- Assist with the maintenance and operation of flow computers and primary devices.
- Monitors measurement, oil and gas quality at assigned meter sites.
- Maintains and troubleshoots telemetry on measurement equipment.
- Function test and repair safety equipment.
- Prepares reports including but not limited to:
- -Job orders and completion reports
- -Meter and regulator installation and/or removal
- -Equipment and operational tests, repairs, maintenance
- -DOT compliance reports
- -Sample reports
Skills
- High school education or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic in troubleshooting scenarios.
- Familiarity with measurement and communications equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and assessments related to job duties.
- Experience in equipment repair is highly desirable.
