Veterinary Receptionist - San Fransisco, CA

Who we are

At The Castro Animal Hospital, we are ready to hire a Client Service Representatives (CSR) to split their time between our practice in the bustling Castro/Dubose neighborhood, and our sister practice in Polk Gultch, Polk Street Animal Hospital. Do you have the passion for veterinary medicine, excellent client care, and the ambition to become an intricate part of our client service team across both hospitals? If so, keep reading! 

 

The CSR is the first contact to all visitors and callers to the practice and, as such, represents the hospital's professional image. One year of veterinary client service experience is preferred but not required.

 

Successful candidates will possess:

 

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent telephone and in-person communication skills
• The ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• They must have compassion for our clients and their fur families and understand the stress that they endure.

 

CSRs are responsible for greeting clients, differentiating routine cases from emergency cases, scheduling appointments, entering client, patient, and financial data into the computer, generating invoices and explaining them to clients, processing payments, and managing medical records.

 

The salary range for this position is $23-$27/hr.  Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience.  The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
