What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Resort Preventative Maintenance Position position at Pollard Brook InnSeason Resort?
Section 1 – Job Summary:
Maintain resort maintenance to achieve the highest possible guest/owner satisfaction ratings.
Section 2 – Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Process and complete work requests.
· Maintain and repair facility systems and equipment, including but not limited to; HVAC refrigeration, electrical, lighting, kitchen, plumbing, domestic water, drainage, pool and fitness.
· Maintain preventative maintenance program as directed by management.
Section 3 – Skills Required:
· Ability to work weekend shifts.
· Possess strong organizational skills.
· Must be able to work independently.
· Must be able to work in a team environment.
Section 4 – Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods. Frequently, the position requires kneeling, stooping, and bending.
· Ability to lift/push/pull 25 lbs. Frequently the position requires lifting/pushing/pulling of 50 lbs. Occasionally the positions requires lifting/pushing/pulling of 80 lbs.
· Ability to see close and distant, have peripheral and depth perception, and have the ability to have focused vision.
· Ability to work in all weather environments.
Section 5 – Education / Experience:
· High school diploma and/or experience in a hotel, resort, or related field preferred.
· Must have a valid driver’s license, driving record in good standing.
· Trade school or college course work in related field helpful.
